For a time, Nezael was content, but now that he is ever closer to becoming a necromancer in his own right, he finds he wants more than this life. In that desire for more, he finds Yorick, a handsome woodsman from the nearby town…

The first time I found this website's Book section... Your books were the ones that called out to me the most anddddd...
It was the right way to go! The book is really well written and although it isn't happy/light... I still enjoyed the hell out of it!
It also ends in a way where you can either interpret your own "next course of action" or a second book could follow.

A good, hard hit of tragedy. It is immensely satisfying to see all the dreadful threads of implication weave together at the end. The portrayal of necromancy and related magic is very engrossing as well!
